Coverage Nuances

195 countries is impressive on paper, and it holds up in practice for major markets. Western Europe, Japan, South Korea, Australia, and the US are all excellent. Middle Eastern coverage is also strong. I've had good reports from users in Saudi Arabia and Qatar. Where Ubigi shows its age is in how it handles less common destinations. Some African and Central Asian countries are technically "covered" but through networks that deliver inconsistent 3G at best. Email support is responsive. I typically got replies within a few hours during European business hours. There's no live chat in the app, which is a noticeable absence compared to competitors. The help documentation is comprehensive but written in a somewhat technical tone, aimed more at IT administrators than casual travelers.
